You can bring up to 3 dogs to stay with you at the cottage, and this can be booked online. We charge a fee per dog of £25. If you would like to bring more dogs with you, then please contact us or our letting agents to discuss. The cottage is dog friendly and has an enclosed garden, as we are dog owners ourselves. The North Norfolk coast is a great place to come on holiday with your dog
Our change around day is Friday but we can be flexible on this particularly in low season. During school holidays all bookings run Friday to Friday
Our minimum booking is 3 nights, however if you need to leave Sunday evening rather than Monday morning that is fine, just make sure you lock up the cottage and return the keys to the key safe or pop them through the letterbox at the Blakeney Cottage Company. Please let the cottage company know if you will be leaving early.
Two of the bedrooms and two of the bathrooms are downstairs. The remaining three bedrooms and two bathrooms are upstairs.
The internet at the cottage is very good for Norfolk. We recently upgraded to Fibre-optic broadband
Excellent wifi in all the rooms in the house and also works in garden close to house.
Most places in Blakeney have 4G on all networks now. We do not have 5G anywhere in Blakeney yet
Mobile reception is excellent at the cottage if you are on O2 we have 4G inside and outside.

Yes there are four IKEA high chairs at the cottage ( we got a little carried away in IKEA as they are stackable which we loved )
They are stored in the cupboard under the stairs, or sometimes in the large utility room and they stack. They each have a removable tray and are very easy to clean.
Yes logs are provided for the log burner, and will usually be in a log basket in the snug. We also stack additional logs in the porch in the autumn and winter, and there is a log store next to the garage, which is also for the use of guests while they are staying at the cottage.
Yes freshly laundered towels and tea towels are provided for guests at the cottage to use. A white hand towel and a large white bath towel is provided for each guest. Tea towels are also provided plus a dish cloth. You will need to bring your own beach towels and dog towels.
All the information you require regarding key collection, and how to access Gardeners Cottage, will be sent through to you by our booking agents The Blakeney Cottage Company, once you have paid the final balance on the booking.
You can see the status of your booking, and get all the information with directions to the cottage, key pick up etc at any time via the Blakeney Cottage Company website. To keep this information secure you will be asked to log in with your email address and password that you set up or used when you made the booking.
If your booking at the cottage falls within dates of a UK Government lockdown in England where no one is allowed to stay overnight at a holiday cottage, then you will be entitled to either move your booking to later dates or receive a full refund (minus the £30 booking fee)
