Growing instructions for sowing Turban squash seeds in the UK in pots & containers

For an early start, sow Turban Squash seeds indoors in pots under glass ina coldframe, consevatory or greenhouse or on a warm, sunny windowsill. Use good-quality potting compost and plant seeds about 2-3cm deep, keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged. Ensure temperatures stay above 18°C (65°F) to encourage germination. Once seedlings are strong enough and all risk of frost has passed, they can be hardened off and transplanted into larger containers or directly into the garden. If growing in pots, choose a large container (at least 30cm wide) and provide a sturdy support for trailing vines. Keep well-watered and feed regularly with a high-potash fertiliser for strong growth and an abundant harvest.

Perfect for gardeners who love growing their own seasonal produce while adding a touch of rustic beauty to their garden!
